Vice Heist uses Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate traffic — page views, referrers, country, browser, and device. This data is used only to improve the site. Google Analytics processes visits under Google’s privacy policy.

Cookies

Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (_ga and _ga_*) to distinguish visitors. These are the only cookies the site sets today — we run no display advertising and set no advertising cookies of our own. If advertising is enabled in the future, third-party advertising cookies (for example from Google AdSense or Mediavine) may be set with consent, and a consent banner will appear in supported regions.

Affiliate links

Some outbound retailer links are affiliate links. If you click one, the retailer (for example Amazon) may set its own cookies to attribute the referral, governed by that retailer’s privacy policy rather than ours. We receive only aggregate commission reporting — never your identity, and never the contents of your order. Clicking nothing sets nothing: the links are ordinary links until you use them.
