The Best Buy affiliate program backend pointed at a May 18-21 announcement window, but that window has passed without an official public confirmation in our tracked channels. Where to Lock In Your Pre-Order (When Live)

Rockstar Launcher (PC / Linked Console)

Prep you can do today:

• Log in to your Rockstar Games account at rockstargames.com
• Link your PS5 or Xbox account under Account Settings → Linked Accounts
• Verify your saved payment method — remove expired cards now

When pre-orders open:

1. Go to rockstargames.com/gtaVI
2. Click the pre-order CTA (currently inactive)
3. Sign in to your Rockstar account
4. Choose platform version (PS5 or Xbox)
5. Add to cart and complete purchase

• Confirm your PSN account region matches your intended purchase region — region mismatches can prevent pre-orders
• Pre-fund your PS Store wallet if you prefer not to use a card at checkout (some credit promotions apply to wallet funds)
• Ensure your PS5 system software is up to date

When pre-orders open:

1. Go to store.playstation.com
2. Search for "Grand Theft Auto VI" or navigate to the PS5 section
3. Choose your edition (Standard / Special / Collector's)
4. Sign in with your PSN account
5. Select payment method and confirm pre-order
6. You'll be charged at game unlock (November 19, 2026), not at pre-order confirmation

• Save or confirm your shipping address and default payment method
• For in-store pickup: locate your nearest participating store and confirm it carries physical PS5/Xbox titles

When pre-orders open:

• Select your edition and pickup or delivery preference
• Complete checkout — physical pre-orders are typically not charged until the item ships

Retail-exclusive bonus: Some retailers (GameStop, Best Buy, Amazon) offer exclusive SteelBook variants and launch posters with physical pre-orders. These are limited and first-come.

Note: Physical pre-orders typically go through a retailer's website. In-store pickup on launch day is usually available if you select the "pick up at store" option. Confirm with your specific retailer.

2. Find the pre-order
3. Select "Cancel Pre-Order"
4. Confirm — no charge will occur

2. Navigate to "Payment & billing" → "Order history"
3. Find the GTA VI pre-order
4. Select "Cancel"

Rockstar Launcher:

1. Go to your Rockstar account settings
2. Navigate to "Orders"
