May 22 Status Check — Trailer 3, Pre-Orders, and the Reset

The May 18-21 watch window has passed. As of this May 22 file update, Vice Heist has not verified an official public Trailer 3 announcement or live GTA 6 pre-order page through Rockstar, Take-Two investor relations, PSN, Xbox, or a major retailer listing.

That does not disprove the backend signals we logged last week. It does change how readers should treat them: the Best Buy and PSN items are now historical leak signals, not active instructions to expect a same-day store page.

What Changed

• The May 18-21 prediction window is closed. Articles written before the window now carry verification language so they read as prediction records.
• The November 19, 2026 launch date remains the date we track. Rockstar's public GTA 6 materials still point to the post-delay date.
• Pre-order advice stays preparatory. Do not enter payment details on any unofficial store or early-access page. Wait for a public Rockstar, Take-Two, platform-store, or retailer announcement.
• Trailer 3 timing moves back to watch mode. A late-May or June drop is still plausible, but it is no longer a dated May 18-21 call.

What We Are Watching Next

The next meaningful confirmation will be public and easy to verify. The highest-signal channels are Rockstar Newswire, rockstargames.com/VI, the PlayStation and Xbox storefronts, Take-Two investor materials, and major retailer product pages.

If pre-orders open first, the pre-order guide becomes the active walkthrough. If Trailer 3 drops first, the trailer file gets replaced with a frame-by-frame read and the database gets updated where the footage confirms vehicles, regions, weapons, or characters.

Until then, every May-window file has been marked as a dated prediction, and this status page is the current board.
