Vice City Radio — Two Station Names Surface, Plus What We Expect
Two station names surfaced this week through a Spotify playlist URL and a leaked Rockstar audio engineer LinkedIn — Wave 103 returns, plus a new station called Boulevard Atlantique. Here's what we know.

Rockstar's launch-week pattern is to drop curated Spotify playlists representing the in-game radio stations. This week, two playlist URLs slipped past the embargo for several hours before being pulled — enough time for them to be archived, transcribed, and traced. Here is what surfaced.
Wave 103 returns
The first leaked playlist URL ended in wave-103-vice-city-2026. For
anyone who played the original Vice City: yes, that Wave 103.
Synth-pop, new wave, mid-period 80s. The 2026 incarnation will be a
modernized, 2025–2026 synthwave revival station — confirmed
through three artists whose tracks appeared in the leaked playlist:
- The Midnight ("Sunset," "Vampires," "Daytona")
- Gunship ("Tech Noir," "Dark All Day")
- Carpenter Brut ("Turbo Killer")
The thesis is clear: bring the original Vice City station name and energy forward two decades. We are calling this the highest high-confidence leak of the cycle.
Boulevard Atlantique — the new one
The second URL referenced a station called Boulevard Atlantique. The playlist was 47 tracks deep and leaned heavily on:
- Latin freestyle (Lisa Lisa, TKA)
- Modern reggaetón
- French electronic (Justice, Daft Punk)
- A handful of Cuban-American jazz cuts
The implication is a station designed to capture the linguistic and cultural mix of Leonida — a coastline that, per Trailer 2's signage, is heavily Latin-American influenced. Boulevard Atlantique is plausibly the spiritual successor to GTA V's Radio Los Santos: the station Rockstar wants to be the cultural pulse of the city.
What we expect for the full lineup
Rockstar's pattern is 15–18 stations at launch. Going by the station-mix logic from V (Los Santos Rock Radio, Channel X, Radio Mirror Park, etc.), expect:
- One rock revival station — likely with a "modern alternative" bent (think IDLES, Fontaines D.C., late-2020s indie)
- One classic hip-hop station — anchored on 90s/2000s East Coast
- One modern hip-hop station — drill, trap, contemporary
- One country-adjacent station for the Mount Kalaga / Western Interior driving
- One Latin station — likely Boulevard Atlantique (above)
- One synthwave / 80s station — Wave 103 confirmed
- A talk radio station with the usual Rockstar parodies
- An emergency-broadcast / weird station the way Vice City had Pole Position Radio
- One classical / film score station — established Rockstar staple
- Three to five regional or genre-specific deep-dives
How to verify when they ship
Rockstar publishes the official station list on the Newswire 24–48 hours before launch. If you want to check whether a leaked station name made the cut, that's where to look. The full Spotify playlist goes up the morning of release.
We will catalog every confirmed station and a representative track from each in the Database the day they go live. If you find a station name we missed, our tipline is on the About page.
